Universal and Unique

Overcoming is both universal and unique, for all shall overcome yet the process for each is unique.

There is no pattern nor book to use, overcoming is only in ones direct interaction with The One True God, and God alone instructs one and guides one through this process.

In this most precious of all relationships one finds that God and God alone is the strength, endurance and means for ones overcoming, here is where true Faith is uncovered and exercised daily.

In this process one finds great depth in the scripture that states;

“Come, behold the works of the LORD,

Who has wrought desolations in the earth.

He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth;

He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;

He burns the chariots with fire.

Cease and know that I am God;

I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

The LORD of hosts is with us;

The God of Jacob is our stronghold.”

We Shall All Overcome

Overcoming is the removal of all that covers the Treasure we have within our jars of clay.

Our reasoning minds, the traditions of men, this worlds ways and our misperceptions of God and His Kingdom are all what must be overcome within ones being and all by the Faith God provides for ones overcoming.

Overcoming is the means to discern and discover that which is true within one and about one, all from God’s perspective and Word.

Overcoming is the ministry of reconciliation in action bringing one into clearer and clearer vision to the point that eventually one sees as one has always been seen by God.

Total reconciliation is ones Salvation and birthing into the realm of God.

Paul expressed this so well;

“But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE,” we also believe, therefore we also speak, knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you.

For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God.

Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Faiths Works

Faith and works are the means that one overcomes all that is by design set against one in hope.

Overcoming is a step by step walk out of ones reasoning mind into the very mind of a God. This is accomplished only by God’s workmanship within ones being.

Overcoming is the tests that come against ones Faith, and one can only overcome these tests by deeper submission unto the workmanship of God’s hands. For it is both God’s will and Faith that empowers one to rise above that which is set against one in hope.

Overcoming will indeed yield the precious promise given in hope, ones Salvation. Here we see Paul’s words coming to Life.

“For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.

But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

In a Moment…

Everything can change in a moment, this is a demonstration of the Mighty Power of God.

The distance between Joseph and his brothers was transformed in the moment he expressed to them, “I am Joseph, your brother”.

Saul in his zeal for tradition sought out those who were of The Way and persecuting them to the full extent of his interpretation of the Law, this until in a moment he was touched by God, Saul became Paul a true brother to one and all.

These examples point to the Mighty Work of God, where God is very soon to display His creativity in transforming mortal man into God’s likeness and image.

Those that are being prepared for this have been brought to the eager expectation of this miraculous event knowing that as Paul stated this will become true;

“Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

The Way of Faith

This side of ones Salvation Faith becomes the Way and means of relating unto God, for as its written; without Faith it’s impossible to please God.

Faith is the means of applying that which one has heard from God. The Hebrew word for ‘hear’ equates to obey. So it’s Faith in action moving and applying that which one has been given by God into action.

This action is overcoming, for this side of ones Salvation there is within ones nature or makeup that are directly opposed to God. Overcoming is the means of interacting with God in the process of dying daily to that which God brings to ones heart to overcome.

This process endears one to God in an ever deepening way, for its only by the Might of God empowering one by Faith that one sees this process moving forward.

There is a day when by Faith one enters that which was set before them, Salvation and entrance into the Life and realm of God.

Faith is the only Way one transitions from this existence into the very Life of God.

“And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Deliverance in Salvation

Salvation is complete deliverance from every false way, every thought action or deed that is other than solely of God.

David saw this and in scripture it’s recorded his plea unto God for deliverance from all that was impure, or false.

“Therefore I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right; every false way I hate.”

The process that leads one into Salvation is exactly what is expressed in David’s comment; the precepts of God as they are opened unto one become more precious than refined gold, for the Word of God is Life. Everything outside of God and His Word is nothing, non existent.

Therefore Salvation is the process of one being established within the very Word of God and the sifting out of everything that is not of God, every false way or expression.

This false way is the summation of the way of man, none of mankind’s ways or reasoning enters God’s realm of Life.

Salvation is the only means for entrance into the promise of God, which is His Kingdom, all are promised therefore all will see God’s workmanship and Salvation.

The End is The True Beginning

In the Loving Judgement of God one is only separated from that which was never not false in order to be firmly and eternally established within that which was never not true, The Kingdom of God.

The end of ones reasoning mind and earthly existence allows one to see this mortal life in perspective of True Life.

The outcome of God’s workmanship results in one seeing the immense and unmatched beauty of God and His Word and ones being established therein.

This is mankind’s True Beginning when All Things are made New!

“And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”

We in God’s Great goodness receive true and lasting beauty from the ashes of our refinement, all things work together for good!

Treasure Within

The Teacher has spoken and it’s for us to discern the intent of the message.

The overriding theme of Jesus’ teachings was our need for Salvation and entrance into His Kingdom.

The need for our transformation was described by various analogies yet without question the outcome of each displayed these two points and how by Faith they are accomplished.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”

The Treasure hidden in a field is describing an inward treasure that by our nature is hidden, we must forsake our nature to find exactly what is within each of us as Paul stated; “we have this Treasure in jars of clay”. It’s only by Faith that we can begin to see not only this Treasure but the means for it to become our reality.

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls,

and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought The Teacher has spoken and it’s for us to discern the intent of the message.

We must forsake all in order to find and become exactly what God has determined for us to find and become, a New Creation within His Kingdom.

We of our nature or reasoning are incapable of this, it’s only as God shakes us loose from our outward focus to draw our hearts to see by Faith and the workmanship of His hands the Kingdom is within us.

The refining process is one of dying daily to our reasoning in order to live and walk by Faith.

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind; and when it was filled, they drew it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away.

So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

This is the only Way for God to accomplish exactly what His desire is for each of us. The overcoming of our nature by His Nature, we must experience this in order for this to become our reality.

The good fish represents the Kingdom within and the bad fish represents our human nature and reasoning.

This refining process is our only Way into exactly what God has for us all, His righteousness and Kingdom.

Here we will find the Treasure hidden, the Pearl of Great Price, or the Good Fish spoken of in His teachings.

The Israel of God

In the wisdom of God the story of Abraham’s descendants is revealed and all for a lesson to all of mankind, for in the wisdom of God this story expresses all of mankind and the hope set before us all.

God spoke to our forefather and gave Abram a promise that encompassed all of humanity and this promise was for a son to be born, and indeed in God’s time and way Isaac was born.

Isaac represented mankind’s hope and in his day and in the timing of God unto Isaac was born a son, this son was a part of the promise given unto Abram, as God was displaying for humanity His way of relating to Him, which is all by Faith in His Word.

The birthright that was in order for Esau became Jacobs, this story contains example of our natural birth and our promise of a new creation, as Esau represents our sin nature and Jacob our true nature in the realm of God.

Jacob received the promise yet was not at peace, in the wisdom of God Jacob encounters The One True God, and will not escape this encounter until God blesses him. This is a foreshadowing of our Salvation process where we too meet God One to One and from this encounter our Salvation is granted all on the terms of God and His Word.

Jacobs name and nature is changed by this encounter and is now known as Israel, this is profoundly significant for us, and this name change represents our nature being transformed from human to Devine.

This story of God’s Salvation process moves on to include Joseph, Benjamin, Moses, Joshua and John the Baptizer and then someone comes on the scene to bring depth and meaning to this story of Abram’s promise.

Jesus of the physical tribe of Judah in which there was previously no mention of the priesthood from this line comes into mankind’s world. In this a True Israelite speaks;

“Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel.”

Here we begin to see that Jesus Christ the Savior of all is rightly called the King of Israel, for in Christ one finds the fulfillment of Abram’s promised Seed and the hope of all mankind in the King of Israel, for there is but one True King and His Kingdom is the Israel of God.

Now we can see what God was saying as it was spoken in the day of Moses, and this is fulfilled in Spirit and Truth.

“O Israel, you should listen and be careful to do, that it may be well with you and that you may multiply greatly, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

Paul in his letter adds to this with this statement;

“For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God

The Kingdom of God is the True Israel of God in Spirit and Truth.

Great Tribulation and the Outcome

It is only through great tribulation one enters the realm of God.

By design one has deep mindsets that must be overcome in order to be granted entrance into God and His Kingdom, it’s only through tribulations that these mindsets are brought to our awareness.

The Purification of God’s righteous judgement is our only source of overcoming these assumptions, belief systems and mans doctrines that we each have and that were never true in the realm of God.

As one enters this refining process one soon learns this separation of wheat from the chaff is truly accomplished in the Love of God. And one learns to treasure this process regardless of the temporary discomfort, for one fully understands that God’s Salvation is the outcome.

In this ones hope is deepened and by Faith one sees that God’s workmanship is indeed Fruitful for this process yields confidence in God that all things work together for the blessed outcome, ones Salvation and eternal Life in the realm of God.

This process is exactly what all before us have experience, Peter, Paul and John’s writings all speak of this as does our Lord Christ Jesus.

“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”
